I recently learned that the herb epazote (commonly used in Mexican cooking) is a common sidewalk crack weed. This evening I found enough for a pot of beans before I had made it halfway around the block.
The Year I Gave Up the Garden: This is the year I try the simple life. I resolve to cook less, embrace convenience, and do my best to give up gardening.
